Found a new St. Lawrence river site, (untouched)

This place has never been hunted before, metal trash is everywhere, the detector going off like an alarm clock non stop. Made it tough to hear the good tones, had to empty the trash 2 times in my trunk. From what I found this morning the big buckle is possibly a Baldric buckle 18thC, there's one on display at Ticonderoga Museum. The horseshoe and broken (sabre) perhaps blade and the lead flower pedal tobacco lid handle (1600-1800, one was found in England in 2009 and sent out for ident) were within a hundred feet of each other. This area is rock cropped with some good shelter to look over the river. The pendant with (poss 13 diamonds and aquamarine in all .925 was in the water poss circa 1920's). most of the pennies found were sitting near the top or on top with the oldest dating 1940 and the large dating 1896. The long curved piece solid brass, no idea about it, there was even a railway spike and there's no rails for at least a mile. The other little buckles and tear drop tool are also brass, no idea on the tear drop tool. it was actually found at a different location this past summer but want to know what it is. The Celtic cross was found in the water near the pendant. As for the picture of the trash, we all know that's the reality of this hobby, soon time to sort it and get a few scrap dollars lol. Cheers ev1 and hh.

Here's the site for the tobacco jar lid handle I found this morning. A good bookmark to have.

Man, that a powerful lot of digging, but you made some really nice finds. Work, but worth future hunts. Good job! HH jim tn

Thanks Jim and Bart, it's definitely worth cleaning the trash in all ways, can't wait to get there again for another full day. It was lots of digging, easy tho as the plug lifted off the soft sandy soil below.
A friend of mine suggested that the large curved piece is actually bronze, will have to get it checked, for the most part all the keepers were in the 4 to 6 inch range of depth (except most of the coins) approx. Cheers an hh.
