I finally found a new little honey hole! I was driving all over tonight looking for a new place to go.. A lot of time ill just fill up the gas tank, plug in the GPS,, type in parks and recreation.. Ill drive to every park and write down the good potentials.. I wasn't having much luck with this strategy tonight.. I was driving back up heading to a park i have POUNDED... I passed an old school that had a huge ball field off the the right. I am new to the area and have never hunted this building before.. I circled around and parked the car.. When i walked in the field, right away i could see the low spots and high spots where filll dirt has been placed.. I went to the far side of the field and started to work.. The very first signal I picked up was DEEP and great! I opened the plug.. I recovered a wheaty,, When i reached down to grab it out of the hole i got stabbed by a nail the was directly under the wheaty. 
This machine still continues to impress me! I keeped on working down the edge of the field having a awesome time.. I only hunted from the edge to about 30 feet over.. There is still plenty of field left for me to go back to... I ended up with three mercs.. 11 wheats and a little charm with the letter D engraved on it... The funny thing about this field is that there is no clad! I only dug one memorial cent and one nickel.. All the signals are deep.. I think someone has definitely hunted this place before.. But they haven't "E-tracked" it

HAHA I wanted to get back over to the site early this evening.. But a lady friend decided to show up at my place uninvited.. So detecting got put on hold for a couple hours............. Then when i got to the field.. I detected for twenty minutes and some guy came over and wanted to talk detectors and finds.. So i really only got about 30 minutes in before it got dark.. I only found two wheats... I shot some video.. Nothing exciting about a wheat penny, or digging a dang nail a foot in the ground so i wont share lol Thanks for the reply guys.. I am getting out tomorrow for a long hunt
