Found a gold ring today. First in a while.

I got up early this morning and was relic hunting at 6:00 am.

I hunted for about an hour and didn't come up with much.

The ground was rock hard. I did find a funny looking brass

thing.

I decided to go to a tot lot. (easier digs)

I found a skull and cross bones thingy, and a Chinese looking

ear ring. Also a heart thingy, and a fake diamond ear ring and

an ear ring back.

It was hot, but that little bit of jewelry spured me on. So I

went over to the sand filled valley ball court and started making

passes. It was really clean. I got one penny and a pull tab and

a few peices of aluminum.

I was in the sun and was getting very sweaty.

I got a real light response. I could tell it was deep. I kicked the

sand real deep a couple of times and saw shinny gold.

I piched up the ring and jumped around like an idiot.

I regained my composure and thought to my self, I still got it.

It was 9:00 am. I had been at it for three hours, and I scored.

That was all I needed, I had enough. It's nice to make a nice

score. Makes me feel like I'm getting back in the swing of things.

I think I will break my 12 gold ring goal by the end of the year.

That's my new goal anyway. We'll see if I make it.

It looks like 38 cal winchester type bullet

It has a thick white patina covering it.

You're right, it does look like a guitar pick.

I think it is a replica of a guitar pick.
