found a csa button today, and a ga state seal buckle ?

found some drops , and a csa two piece button , about 25 feet from the button we found 56 dropped 3 ringers , suspender clip, and then up from the drops got a signal ,dug down a little checked the hole again, dug out a rock , and there laid a buckle face down ,yelled to my hunting buddy i said you have got to come here you are not going to belive this ,i told him to flip the buckle out it was a georgia state seal buckle we flipped out, does anyone have any info on csa buttons or ga state seal buckles ,the drops and the buckle were found where a dozer had taken off about 3 to 4 inches of soil, and this was clay under neath........ i dont know what the odds are of finding these items in one day are . could the button and plate be fakes , they were found on a battlefied in nth ga , where we knew the stuff should be there, how can i verify the button and buckle , thanks.

First thing you need to do is post up some pictures! We would love to see 'em. If they are real then you have hit the "grail" for us relic hunters. Keep hitting that site hard before the dozers do away with it forever. I wish I were there with you! HH!

well i have bad news on the buckle and button , i had someone check them out ,because i just was not sure they were authentic , even though we found plenty of drops and fired bullets, and one eagle i button. looks like someone either planted these for someone to find or are a button and buckle lost by someone who does reinactments, this really sucks........

found ouy they are both early post war , buckle made by parsons, used by early reenactors , oh well.
