 (sorry!)

Been watching the radar since 2am...snuck out for 2hrs between bow echos and hit the beach with the Pro...snapped up this stuff...the Cannon was laying up on the dune, looks brand new, so I washed it out in the Lake and wrung it out real good, draped it over my neck and carried it out of there...very tricky weather today, Big Lake was heaving due to the drastic changes in the barometer...no big waves, just a weird heave in water depth every so often, almost like a tide, except it only lasted for 10 minutes or so, then would repeat...we got 2" of rain and hail since this am, no humans are out, didnt see one seagull either, so there must be more heavy weather on the way, dark as night right now... might get back out later...

Maybe the cannon will help keep you warm and dry. A few tickets there and sure do like the car. HH jim tn

Yeah Jim, those cars hit pretty hard, and deep..get a guy thinking 'big silver' on their signals...I have a strange method of hunting the really long blowouts, I sort of brace my detector arm against my body, and walk in a straight line with the coil right at the edge of the surfline in the little trough, no swinging involved, just a brisk walk until a signal is encountered, or a nice deep cut is discovered, then sweep the whole area real good...it was at least a 3mile hike this am, got a bit overheated, but that is to be expected in a wetsuit, so I would just go in deep and cool off some, and I really need to build up some endurance anyway...right now, its as dark as if it was midnight, except its noon...I might just lose power in a few minutes...

I'm under orders to bring all good towels home...I dont think the Missus has bought a towel in 4 yrs...

Glad you got out, Mud and had some good finds. You can always use another towel and love the little car. I found one yesterday as well.

Nice cannon! I found one last week that has become my new one, lol. Heck, it looks brand new, thought I might as well use it! I like the car too.

Mud nice going! :cheers:Those Cannons don't come cheap. I sure wish that I had some cool water close by to detect in. It 's hot here!!!!!!!!!!!!

Brown is the right color, too-- if you treat yours like I do.
1). Work up a nice sweat digging and boulder hopping.
2). Apply layers of dirt and ash.
3). Repeat as needed.

Upon arriving home:
1). Wet face and hands.
2). Wipe dirt on towel.

I hope the storm is uncovering an ancient shipwreck full of pieces of eight!!

Dickens, Yeah, I deserve that at least...so I punched myself in the mouth with a couple 24oz cans of Budlight!...hope that helps!
