Sorry for getting so exited , its not often something non Iron comes to light , I don't know how I missed this brass buckle but I hit it today using the Vaq ,I know a coin could be in this layer , also the crows made fast work of the gophers, they have a way of making an incision and then they take out the indtrals and then eat them I think it took them all of 3 hours to clean them up .

Good call on the brass. You learned more about the Vaq in 3 months than I have in 3 years .

A great video . Nice work with "Vaca-hero":heh: . That 5.75 Widescan is my favorite coil on the Vaquero . It's surprising how big some of those gophers can get and the width of the tunnels they can make . I've actually had my foot go thru the dirt ankle deep ( that will sure take you by surprise ) . I 'm expecting you will find a great oldie coin there pretty soon .

Hatpin, on bone hill its rather brass or nails , if i was on a baseball field i would have called it as a tab, but it just seemed a real strong signal , so i called it as brass, but a lot of the Iron makes a hollow frail sound , but those bent cut nails can fool me the vaq is kinda like the bliss tool when you hit a good target it should sound real solid,
