found a big pile of precious metal.......

in the corner of my riding lawnmower shed. it happens i am a just-retired electrical contractor, and now i have a big pile of scrap copper wire in my way i had let my grand-son-in-law borrow a troy built jr. tiller this spring, and now it is coming home. i need to clean out the shed/sell the scrap, so i got to thinking about turning this into a new GTI 1500, [ way more than enough to pay for the GTI 1500] until my AT GOLD comes in. being a practical person, i am kind of in the wind about this, as i would have two new detectors to learn to use to full potential. however, the money for the scrap is solid DUFUS DOLLARS,, and ain't got nothing to do with household money. thank goodness,, we are financial secure. see what kind of problems you run in to when you retire????? what do some of you guys say????? i guess i'm encouraging someone to say,''order one''...........

"order one"

i kind of think things might work out on this forum, for me. i really like the way some of you guys think. i appreciate your attitude!!!!!! decisions, decisions,, no one has addressed the task of learning two new detectors at the basically same time---- and the season is getting short, even in the deep south. then next thing i know,, garret will bring out a hard-core, dedicated ring detector,, and sho'nuff,, i will want one!!!!--------------yes, i read some of these threads---------------

I would say buy one. Then I remember two weeks ago my truck broke down, last friday my a/c unit in my house went out. You never know when you may need a little cash. But what can I say I have bought three detectors sence Febuary.

o.k.,, o.k.,, yall have twisted my arm enough... i give up!!! i just ordered one from ''big boy's hobbies'' . right decision,,, wrong decision,,, too late now.... my homework is cut out for me now, for awhile. from all i can gather from your advice and expertise on this forum, the GTI 1500 is the best for coin hunting. i kinda expect the AT GOLD will really shine going after jewelry, with the lots higher frequency and it is water resistant. . at least i don't have to concern myself about buying any more equipment, for awhile.--- get out there and beat them bushes, bubba!!!! this sport is like motorcycling or the shooting competition sports,,, if you gonna play,,, you gonna pay!!!! get it over with, and get in the game!!! besides,, i HAVE to do something with the scrap wire, i called my big, strong grandson to come help papaw burn it. this will work out,, i will sip a few bud light limes, and he will tune it right up for me. of course, i will do guard duty to make sure the fire doesn't get out of control, on this property, that just had 10'' of TS LEE'S rain.........what a plan!!!!!!

yeah,, i just found out about the pro pointers, since i've been reading this forum. i do have one on the way, i ordered it from kellyco when i ordered the AT GOLD. i got an email saying something had shipped, so that leads me to think it's the PP. those little fellas are kinda pricey, but a real hassle saver, especially for old folks that can't exactly see like a crow anymore.

this 1500 looks surprisingly easy to operate. i have watched several videos online, and read the owners manual several times on garrett's site. i have about decided to use it in the ''jewelry'' mode in parks or wherever a lot of folks have been. find a target, hit the ''LAST'' button and scan, dig if it appears good. i did not have a clue about what was out there, when i got the bug again a month or so ago. i initially ordered a ''scratch and dent'' pioneer 505 for $200, and it appears to be a solid little unit. i expect my grandson will be tickled that i have it, as he just loved doing things with papaw. i'll try to get him started with the 505, with a touch of ''beginner's luck'' he will be hooked.

What you havent ordered it Yet!!! omg man your golden years await your travel into the earths crust!!! ha ha h a!!!

oh,, it's ordered, and on the way. my UPS tracking says delivery this afternoon. my PP came in yesterday, so i will be out in the wild first thing saturday morning.does anybody think i might need to take a wheelbarrow with me, to haul all those coins around??????
