MT

New member
Found this beauty a while back with my E-Trac. It a 1923S SLQ in very nice condition. It was 8" deep. I didn't even have to clean it.
Thanks for looking.

MT

Thanks a million for showing us guys you can't even scrape dirt in our yard due to old man winter!!!!!

Sweet find MT! Amazing the stuff that keeps coming from that "hunted out" park! :yikes: Looking forward to getting one like that myself soon!

I found. a 27s last year in beautiful shape and same thing didnt even have to clean it!! Only trouble was I brought it to a coin dealer, and after I told him I found it Mding he didnt believe me. He told me I must have polished it. Needless to say will never go to that dealer again. People just dont understand that silver looks good in the ground depending on soil conditions. Also how did it look when dropped? But you do have a nice quarter there. Just dont take it to Hopewell NY if you ever want to get rid of it. HH

Wow, Tommy, that's got to be one of your better silver coin finds!! A Key Date!

Very, very nice!! :please: I don't remember you posting this on Kinzli.

You always amaze me!

Congrats,

WOW!!! :yikes: Congrats Tom! I think that coin would pay for your ET. :clapping:

I found a 23s some years back. I had it graded and slabbed, It came back AU53 but do to a tiny scratch on the back they labeled it scratched. probably a $1000 imperfection. Still, even that coin would probably pay for my ET.

wow, that's alot of money for a young coin!!

Very nice find MT!!

I've found two SLQ's in the past 8 months, unfortunately both have been dateless :rage:

Hope to hunt with you guys next Wednesday

HH,
Brian

That is one sweet Standing Liberty Quarter! Major Congrats!!

That is an incredible coin and awesome key date! I've found one dateless SLQ but I would love to find a key date in that condition. Would definitely be a dream find for me. Congrats!

That's a beauty for sure!!!! I like SLQ's even better than Barber's just because finding one with a date is so rare. Oh, and they're one of the prettiest coin's ever minted.
Good luck, Gary

Now that is sweet. I don't think I've ever seen one that good when you could find them in change.

Outstanding !!!
