Found 3 Silver Dimes Today

I didn't even have to dig for them. I was getting last years dug clad ready to run through the tumbler and I saw a discolored but silvery looking dime in the pile so I pull out the magnifying glass and it turned out to be a 1963 roosevelt. I then checked the rest of the somewhat tarnished but silvery looking dimes and found a 1953 and a 1961 roosevelt dime. I think I should keep a closer eye on my clad.

I think so too....... but better late than never.

That's good that you found them in there. Larry has found a wheat cent now and then but silver. OK, wonder which one of you found them and didn't realize they were silver? Great second find Daryl! Stay cool and HH, Nancy

Thats going to make me go take a clores look at my clad also!

Darryl buddy, no offense, but you might want to get your eyes checked. I always check the edge.

I found a Bust half once that I thought was silver, but when I saw the lettering on the edge, instead of ridges, I knew it wasn't silver, so I just gave it a toss.

Nice finds Daryl. The best part you got to find them in the comfort of your own home.
