Found 3 more Half Dimes at my relic site last evening and got them on video:surprised:

I don't load anymore to youtube because it takes 2 hours to load a 2 and one half minute video onto there.......NGE

Something must be wrong somewhere. I use videopad video editor and then convert the video to 640X360 before uploading it. Even a 45 minute video does not take me that long. Either you have a slow connection or the the video file that is getting created is huge. Let me know if I can help.

Great job Ray! Man, what a great find and the story behind those coins must be amazing and perhaps a bit intense.

Keep up the videos, nice memory to share.

I have the same problem. I stopped uploading the hi-res 720 videos as they took too long. It still takes me 2 hours for videos les than 10 mins long! My download speed is pretty fast at 6000kbs I believe but my upload speed is 600kbs and I measured it to only less than half that! I have a two year contract though and wonder if there is an out for them not giving me what I paid for as I can change companies and get a very fast connection up for the same price.

Do you know your upload speed?

My upload speed is .73Kbps, so net even one meg. I may have to call my internet provider. I am paying for a 10MB line. I set my video format for xvid and 640X360. I think that really helps to make the file size a lot smaller.

Thanks for the reply Bill sorry to hijack your thread Ray. But hopefully this is of use to other uploading videos.

I checked my settings and I'm outputting the video to 960X540 format, which does look a lot nicer than 640X360 (I just did a comparison). But on Youtube it ends up being cut down I think - it just says 480 on Youtube. Anyway, the video size is 2X that of 640X360 so if things don't improve I may start uploading at that. Not a lot of videos coming though from me as I have cleaned the easy deep ones from this site! LOL

Thanks again Bill,
Albert
