So i got up bright and early this morning to FREEZE to death!!!! But i was able to come up with a few goodies
I walked out in some open short grass and i could not even get my digger in the frozen ground!! So i retreated to the edge of the woods, and to some hire grass,, The ground was still a little stiff, but workable!! The first coin i found was a 1935 wheat cent!!! I walked up to the top of the hill and got some chirps.. I dug down around 6 inches and there it was!!! Next i came around the edge of the tree line in my pounded out park,,, I got a clean quarter signal,, Not deep at all... I actually thought it was going to be a clad quarter,, I dug down about three inches and saw silver!!! I was pretty pumped because by this time i have been there about an hour, only finding the wheat penny, and was about to leave.... So i searched around a bit more in the area of the quarter, and found a couple want to be Indian's.. "bottle caps" I hate those things!!!! After that i decided to walk across the road the a place my friends call Indian hill... They probably found around 25 to 40 Indians on this little hill.. The first target i dug was a real nice piece of iron
I love those to!!! Finally i got a broken but interesting signal to dig... I opened up the hole and automatically saw another wheat 1935.. I covered the hole and rechecked,, and got a nickel signal,,, U opened the hole,, put the probe in and popped out a nasty old Buffalo nickel. 1936.. I covered the hole took two steps,, and got another nickel signal,,, dug down and got a 1945 P war nickel... After that i called it quiets,,, either that or frost bite lol.. Nothing to great today But still a decent day of detecting!!!!! Thanks for looking everyone,,, And good luck
