i thought they used to be listed but i can't find them. 2 of the main ones i remember are don't list links to other forums and sites that aren't sponsors of this forum.

wow, how do I know if a site is a no no? If it is only the sponsors that are listed, that really doesn't leave a lot of options. Well thanks for the info. I looked all over for the rules but did not find any. I wanted to help someone with information that was posted on another site but figured I would ask about the rules first.

go ahead an post. i thing there are some rules that are just common sense on all forums. don't be rude or vulgar. if its out of line the moderator will delete it. if you post something that should be on another forum they will move it to the apporpiate one. we learn by experience. good luck.

The main thing to remember is this is a privately owned business, supported by paying advertisers. The owner does not provide for free advertising. No brand bashing and be courteous. There are other rules like in the classifieds but most is just common sense. Everyone is a guest here and can be asked to leave for whatever reason.

well let me ask you something. I ran across a site that has all the manuals listed for most common metal detectors and I thought it could be helpful and want to post the link.

Could I do that?

Are they trying to sell them? If not post. Most manuals are free from the manufactures web sites like White's. This forum has the manuals listed right at the top, was that what you were thinking?

Well, here is the link. I hope they don't delete it. I know I have had a hard time finding manuals sometimes and this site is a great help.

Seems to me, that during the registration process to post and reply here on Findmall - wasn't there something during that registration process that mentioned anything about any rules? I dunno - but common sense goes a long ways.

You know....stupid me absolutely did not see that post up above in this forum for the manuals!!! You know how sometimes you see things but you don't see them.

If the mod wishes to remove the post go ahead. I don't want to break any rules and I would edit my post myself if I could.
