Forum hunt tales!....... Long!!.....

Saturday was started by meeting over at Greg's, then heading to Lake Michigan. We hunted an 1870's park, and the finds were slow, but we did manage to pull 3 indians out of that park. We had a great time of fellowship when we had lunch right at the park. hunted till about 5 then headed back to Greg's house where we ended the evening with a BBQ feast, and Henry had cooked up a cajun gumbo! We had an awesome time visiting and the handed out the prizes for oldest penny, nickel, dime, quarter, neatest find, and one to Henry for driving the farthest to get here, not to mention spending the most with having to buy a new trany for his truck! We then gave out 40 some door prizes! Thanks to all who donated. Then we started saying goodbyes. Jamie MI, Mike Chicago, and Paul NWO headed for home. Goe and vicky, pete and family headed back to their rooms, then Henry Chris and I headed back to my house. I'm sure Greg and Steve stayed up a little while telling lies to each other. I got to bed at 12:30 and was up at 6:30. Henry, Chris and my family headed off to church, where we were later joined by Pete, Sherry, casey, Joe, and Vicky. We had a blessed day at church, especially when Joe sang a wonderful song! A bit later Joe and Vicky said their goodbyes, and the rest of us went out for Sunday dinner. Thanks again Henry! Now Henry and Chris is resting. Tomorrow Joe and Vicky will fly home, and Henry and Chris will start heading home. They will take a few days because they want to see some sites. Pray for safe travel for them. What a great weekend! You should have been there! :) maybe next year??
