Well, i posted a message asking for some advice on finding deepies, i had been finding nothing but coins 4 inches or less for weeks, i took the advice i got ( go real slow on your sweep, and when u get a shallow coin lift your coil to learn what a deepie will sound like) took the detector out sunday morning for 1 1/2 hours to and old fort converted to a park around the turn of the century and found me a 1874 SILVER DIME, 1903 SILVER NICKEL, and mans GOLD RING all in about 30 minutes, the rest of the time was spent teaching the wife how to use it, looks like another purchase is in the works!! MY thanks to you all and HH!!
