Fors Gold and CoRe coil compatibility

I found a post on Detector Prospector that seems to imply that both of these detectors are basically the same machine with a different set of options. Even though coil code names are not the same, are the coils for both machines fully compatible ?

The coils for the Gold start with FG. The coils for the CoRe start with FC.

Fors Gold and Fors CoRe coils are compatible BUT Fors Gold has been discontinued and replaced by Fors Gold+ of which the coils are NOT compatible with the CoRe. Hope this helps.

are compatible with the other 19 kHz model, the FORS Relic. It is handy in case you are trying to find a new or used coil for your Nokta FORS Relic, and also if you happen to favor a white colored search coil instead of a black colored coil.
