and that is very 'normal' on most Internet Forums. Far more readers, registered or not, who never respond, for whatever reason they have.
Then there are the number non-posting, non-reading FORS CoRe users who you're not counting, or those who have multiple FORS CoRe units. Examples:
1st .. Count me on the list of FORS CoRe users. I have, am, and will continue to enjoy the FORS CoRe ... and all of my Nokta and Makro detectors ... because they work splendidly.
2nd.. In the past year I have acquired four (4) FORS CoRe's from people who bought them but had health or family/financial issues that came up and they needed cash in a hurry, or they were just some of the try and and let them go group who never seem to really learn any detector. Those four detectors are now in the hands of people who have learned them and really enjoy using them. Most of them never post on any Forums, or they might only on a very rare occasion. Not mine, not Findmall, not one of them, so you wouldn't get them in the tally you ask about.
3rd.. There are some people who have come to admire the FORS CoRe so much that they want to have more than one specimen. Oregon Gregg now owns two (2) FORS CoRe units, keeping an 'as new' pristine CoRe Pro Pack in the detector bag at home for emergency back-up in case something happens to his in-use unit, so does he count as '2' users? I know another CoRe user who has more than one device and likes to keep each one at-the-ready, having a smaller coil on one unit and a standard 7X11 on another ... with spare coils on lower rods for quick changes to either unit.
The most important thing you can gain from your post is knowing
that you are not alone. There are many Nokta users who have decided to "
Check it out" or "
See what all the talk is about" because the housing, rod and coil set-ups are different appearing than many/most 'average' hobbyists are used to. Then, once in-hand, if they put in just a little time they learn that the Nokta FORS 'series' are much lighter weight than the eyeball suggests. They are much simpler to adjust and get set-up than many are used to. They have the 'save' memory to hold all primary settings in each of the search mode. They have well designed search coils that provide wonderful performance.
In short ... The FORS 'series' WORKS! The FORS CoRe for Coin & Jewelry Hunting, the FORS Gold+ that is designed for the Gold Nugget Hunter but also works very well for an avid Relic Hunter, as can the FORS CoRe. Well designed detectors that provide us with tough-to-beat performance afield, and that's where it counts.
Best of success with your FORS CoRe!
