https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-wBocxzukYw&list=UUdYWV7eq_4vB3y_JZm2zBnQ Here's a quick video testing out the fors core with some iron. The 1st half of the video i'm trying to get an estimate of how much the VDI will change when there is a high conductor mixxed with iron.I believe with some practice i can read the vdi alone and tell if a high conductor is in with iron. I was very surprised to get a 'clean' signal with the nail laying right on the dime...at 6 inches even.I will test at 8 inches next and see if the discrim still works. In my next video i Pick up a US dime at 10 inches and still get a good vdi.

They are made in Turkey. http://noktadetectors.com/ Very well made. The handle vibrates for the hearing impaired or if you like silent hunting. There is also a L.E.D light in the handle shines on the coil for night hunting.I bought mine at Kellyco..Was the only place in the US selling them ATM i believe.
