A few years ago a man named Forrest Fenn secreted a box full of gold and artifacts. This treasure is worth a few million dollars and depending on which story you read, this value varies from 1 to several millions of dollars.
Forrest wrote a book about this treasure, and he also made two treasure maps that, if you can decipher them, will lead you to the spot where the box of loot is located. Well folks, here is where these two maps lead you.
The first map, the Poem Map, gives you three pieces of information that you must know. Using the "north declination lines" found on this map, you simply fold the map on declination lines 11 through 13. You must make sure that when you fold the map, that you use a ruler, and line the ruler up which each end of these lines (these lines arc, so that's why you must make contact with the very ends of these lines). Line 11, when folded properly, will tell you that this treasure, or as Forrest puts it, this "MINO", will be found in Wyoming. In fact, the word Wyoming actually forms these words "YO MINO." Imagine trying to fit the word "treasure" into the word Wyoming!! Anyway, yo mino, along with the name of the State, says this: The Mino (treasure) is located in Wyoming (loose translation).
Line 12, when folded properly, tells you where the treasure trail begins, which is at the headwaters of the Green River (at the Continental Divide).
Line 13 gives you the blaze that will be found when you reach the treasures location. This blaze is in the shape of a BELL.
The second map takes over at this point, and it takes you from the headwaters of the Green River and goes downstream to the two creeks (on this map) that flow into the Green River. These two Creeks are the Boulder Creek and the Pot Creek. (note, there are other creeks that flow into the Green River, but the Boulder and Pot are the ones that Forrest used in concealing his treasure box).
On a topo, you will see where these two creeks (Boulder and Pot) merge, becoming one, just before entering the Green River, and this is also found on the river map by folding it in half (if you know how to decipher it properly).
I won't tell you how to flow down this Green River in order to find these creeks and the treasure. I will tell you instead how to get there by car.
On a map of Wyoming, go to Pinedale, Wyoming. From Pinedale go west about 7 miles to Highway 352, then go north (I believe that north is the ONLY way that you CAN go). While traveling on 352, watch for the business known as "The Place and Green River Guest Ranch." Once you pass this business you will go across Boulder Creek bridge, and then shortly thereafter, you will go across the bridge that spans Pot Creek. Once at Pot Creek, you need to park somewhere and walk downstream (west) along the south bank of Pot Creek. It will be a short walk, but keep your eyes peeled for the blaze, the BELL. Once you find the blaze, you have found the treasure.
A WORD OF CAUTION: There are two sets of three 6's (666) found on the River Map. In the treasure codes, 666 means "death trap." Did Forrest death trap this treasure box? the surrounding area? I have no idea, but be careful if you go there.
I assure you that this interpretation is true and honest. I am not trying to get money or any other compensation for revealing this info. I do ask just one thing: please be safe.
I will be revealing the locations to other treasures in the future.
