Fork- Age?

FrankieG.

New member
I found this fork today while testing my new Garrett Pro Pinpointer in my parent's backyard.

Looks like it's made of brass and plated with nickel- the finish had darkened hence why I think it's nickel. There's some letters on the handle portion but I can't make them out. My guess is early 20th century. Any ideas?

I did a bit of searching on the internet and found a lead with Silverware made by Wm Rogers 1900-1950's. With that now I can make out the letters spelling Rogers on my fork. Here's a website listing various silverware made under the Wm Rogers name.

I still need to find out exactly what pattern my fork is to determine it's date.
