When I was digging the hole I was like "great, another can..." Then I caught a glimpse of her. I knew what it was before I even took it out of the hole!

Thanks. Don't see many silver dollars found, that's for sure. I will probably never find another one ever again...

I found my first morgan this year too ... early summer. It was in a very hot house fire and is severely disfigured. The obverse (with the date) is obliterated and the reverse shows traces of the eagle and an "O" mintmark. Wasn't even sure what I had until I got it home and cleaned it off. A morgan dollar is a very rare find in my opinion. Welcome to the club !! :clap:
