My buddy and I worked an area in a town today. We both started pulling Wheaties right away and I thought maybe we'd find a piece of silver before we were done. It turned out to be a hard grind. We were at it for about 7 hours and the CTX managed to pull a Rosie, a Sterling cocktail fork and a 1944 British Shilling, which has 50% silver content. I think it's a nice looking coin to add to my collection. I ended up with 10 Wheaties and my buddy had 3. He's running a Teknetics T2. A few pics!

I'm not sure, but he's sure been eyeing my E-trac since I got the CTX. I told him I was keeping it for backup. He has to be the unluckiest MDer around. He almost always finds more coins than I do, but since I've been hunting with him, he's never pulled a silver. Even if I try to put him in the best looking spot, he won't find any and I'll get one in some drab looking corner of a lot. At least he's good natured about it....so far.
