There is a beach ive been hitting once or twice a year that always leaves me smiling..last year i was finding military debris from a beach replenishment then went back a few months later and found a handful of foreign coins.. i was here a few months ago and only found 2 or 3 foreign coins and at that time they were in the middle of re -screening the existing sand to rid it of the military debris.. fast forward to yesterday. .. things started out slow but once i got in the pocket they were biting left and right.. last weeks noreaster did a great job of moving some sand.. the Canadian silver quarter and one of the large pennies were eyeball finds right on the surface... obviously most of these coins were planted by whom i do not have any idea but hey thank you very much.... even got an 1893 indian head,2 wheaties 1921,1914. an 1876 un centavo and 9 large foreign coppers along with enough clad to pay tolls.. all and all a very fun day ..... pics are before and after tumbling..[attachment 343834 IMG_20170408_1705192371.jpg][attachment 343835 IMG_20170409_1518027031.jpg][attachment 343836 IMG_20170409_1519579081.jpg]

Nice haul there!

WOW! Foreign or Domestic that is an incredible day of hunting. Maybe someone that lives close by sees you out there hunting and wants to make sure you have plenty of targets to dig up? Heck like you mention, I would take them too. Now before your next trip they need to plant Barber quarters, dimes and a couple dozen Buffalo nickels :)

This reminds me to get over to a place I often hunt too. I never picked them up but someone tossed probably 50 pennies in a 2 - 2 1/2 foot diameter area. I need to install the 5" coil on my AT Pro and go have a blast recovering them.

Very nice haul you took in!

Thanks for comments guys... ELP- it did cross my mind that someone local might be thinning out their coin collection just to give a guy a thrill .. i just dont know but i aint complaining .. area is kinda well to do money wise if you know what i mean..

Bootyhoundpa, you had a great day! What are the dates on the Canadian silver? I always liked the designs on Canadian coins. Best of luck and...
