I visited Gettysburg a few years ago for two days, the battle field is 28 miles around, there are more then 1000 monuments on the battle field, it was the best vacation I ever took, I walked that same mile the Army of Northern Virgina did on Pickett's Charge on a cool rainy fall day and I was the only one on that field that day, it was very moving for me to cross that field and walk at a fast clip like those brave men did way back then.

I kept looking behind me and threw the wheat field on both sides of me and then the corn field, I felt I was not alone, I felt some one or some thing was watching me, it was spooky to say the least. Now that I look back, maybe I wasn't alone because the Army of Northern Virgina was there with me.

Thanks for tagging along with me on this American history tour, here's some photos of my visit, if you have never been to Gettysburg I urge you to make the trip, you will be thankfull that you did, next time I go I will go for a week because there is so much to see and so much history to read and stand among

I hope you all enjoyed this post as much as I did putting it together :) ............ :csflag:
