Just thought I would share this one with all of you. I thought it was pretty neat.:)

That is a cool advertising coin! Nice find!

That is Great!

And someone even liked it so much they drilled it so they wouldn't lose it!

What fun!

OK, dude. You're freakin' me out, here.

First I see where you've posted a "Pontiac, Chief of the Sixes" token. I dug one of those in my sister's yard.

NOW I see you've posted a "Futuramatic 88" token. Well, guess what- I've dug one of THOSE, too! It was along a grassy sidewalk strip near a car lot, as a matter of fact. Mine isn't holed.

You're gonna make me have to upload pictures of both of mine, now. I actually took pictures of all my past finds the other day, but have not gotten around to cropping them and uploading them. Catching up on photographs for 16 years of finds is taking me a while!

So, what do you put the date of this one at? I see you were useful in dating the Pontiac piece. Like the other, I guesstimated this one at circa 1950s, with the very early 1960s at the latest. What say ye?

I think the early 50s is about the time line for the token. Here is a picture of the pace car in 1949. It is really hard to pin down a specific date.
P.S.
I think you are confusing me with someone else. I did not post the Pontiac token.

Here's a picture of mine. Thanks for posting the timeline. I suspected 1950s, but was figuring later 50s.
