I made it out yesterday and hunted a hay field that has yielded silver before. I ended up with 7 wheats, a couple of clad dimes and an 1894 Indian head cent. I am first and foremost a tone hunter. I do look at the ID numbers once in a while. Yesterday if I wasn't digging 18-21,I would have missed the Indian and half of the wheat cents. Now hunting a hay field is a bit tough as it was pretty thick in there. My point I am trying to make is don't get hung up on the numbers!! If you have to dig a zincoln once in a while dig it! You want to have those old coins in your pouch. Not someone else! Good luck and HH! Ted
