......every time I mowed the lawn this summer,it was SWEAT City-mowed'em today, didnt even work up a decent sweat-Well,it IS autumn now,and we all know what comes after that:surrender::shrug::cry:NOW,I JUST KNOW Mike's gonna like hearing this-My mother in law told me the Farmer's almanac predicts an EARLY,BAD winter.I gotta tell y'all, this is the EARLIEST Ive seen the trees turn in Michigan, and they've turned FAST............AND,most of our birds that migrate have been gone for WEEKS now.Ive also noticed the caterpillars crawling around seem to be UNUSUALLY HEAVY in their fur coverings,too........ :sadwalk:I GOT AN IDEA-Lets all of us move out and live with Steve in Arizona- HEY STEVE-break out the inflatable beds, here we come!!!

I was just telling the dr (a lady and not my regular dr at my last visit), that if the Winter is as cold as the HOT and HUMID Summer we've had, then we will have a doozy of cold and ice and the forbidden four letter word, which we will probably have a lot of....but then again God is in control, so we can't do much about the weather, but talk about it and pray! Well, Steve and Nancy in AZ, let us hear you say, "ya all come to AZ"!  :) May God Bless! AMen! Ma Betty

Hi Ma and Steve; Here in Boston we are still in the 80's. Usually we're in the 60,s by now. I believe we ARE in for a "BRUTAL" winter. I predict 5 ft. Snows and heavy rains. Either hold on tight folks or here I come Steve.!!! :heh: PEACE:RONB

Sure would like to take you up on it, Steve, for I dislike the freezing cold weather as much as I dislike the hot, humid weather and giving up having to wear a heavy winter coat or jacket just suits me fine....but alas your house would be too full for the old, grey mare, Ma Betty, should everyone try to escape the Winter Season in AZ! LOL!!

Well Barker, unless Steve in AZ has a huge mansion for us all to stay in for the whole Winter, we better hold on tight and hope and pray for the best! ;) Too many good detectorists going there would deplete his detecting grounds of most of the goodies until more were lost! May God Bless! Amen! Ma Betty

I want to do plenty of diggin for old coins etc... while the weather is cool and the ground is moist. Still need some moisture in the ground yet.
I will plow when the time comes, but not yet please!
