Hello,
First of all I want to appologize I tried to put this in the classified section but it would not take. I am sorry.
I am selling this machine because I am upgrading to a Cortes. This machine is in Great shape/ Includes:
carrying bag, loop cover, warranty card never sent in,never filled out. This machine is very accurate and is very clean. $275.00 FREE SHIPPING within the 48 states. e-mail for details.
Thanks to all
Pete

Is the $275 a little high? Perhaps, but if it is a creampuff, new Silver Sabre

I was going to say, I can buy a Conquistador for $319.00 new in the box

This has been, and will continue to be, a confusing factor in any discussion about Tesoro models.
There have been four (4) Silver SABRE models: The Silver Sabre, Silver Sabre Plus, Silver Sabre II and finally the Silver Sabre

The Silver Sabre usually goes on feebay for under $200. The last one I saw sold for about $160 and was in great condition.

I wish Tesoro would have put that threshold knob on the Silver uMax.

As for performance I'd rate them very close in depth with the new Silver uMax slightly deeper.

I am new to this forum, could someone help me figure out how to get in touch with other members or send messages? Thank you.

You have to have posted a certain number of post to qualify for contact with other members.

Personally,

I feel the Silver Sabre Umax should sell for $250,(or perhaps even more!),due to the fact of the RARE
TRUE ALL METAL pinpoint feature,(red pinpoint button),AND external Threshold control NOT FOUND
on the modern day Silver Umaxes..
(I feel it's the best Silver Umax Tesoro ever made!) Correct me if Im wrong, but the Silver Sabre Umax sold new for close to $300 in the early nineties..And since they still have the lifetime warranty,it makes them even more valuable
as time goes by.

This is basically a Shadow X2,without the coincheck, and I Shadow X2's all the time going anywhere from $250-$400.

The Shadow has a few other "nice" features other than the coincheck...Much, much tighter and water/mudproof adjustments, 7" thin profile concentric, coil, much tighter arm cuff, to mention a few of the features.

Old but interesting!

I routinely search and read the old forum posts from many forum sites. There's a wealth of information sitting there
in the archives that can help make everyone's hobby experience much better .
