For Sale or Trade Minelab e-Trac with Sunray X-1 Probe

marchas45

New member
Looking to sell or trade a mint e-trac with blank warranty card, Andy Sabisch's book, even has the original sales slip (beginning at the start of the year) and of course the Sunray X-1 Probe. I bought this unit a few weeks ago on another forum to trade with and I assure you it's mint. It also has a set of Jolly Roger Ultimate headphones like new. The previous owner bought it a few months ago and barely used it 4 times. It also has a spare upper rod as the probe is attached to it's own rod.

I am asking $1250.00 shipped or trade for a White's V3i with headphones 9-10 condition. Thanks, Charlie

Payment: Paypal as gift or Money Order

I paid for this and my money has been refunded. I asked for the detector to be wrapped or put in a box....then, I am told he had two others wanting it but it is now posted again for sale. Be careful, something is not right.

This guy has a problem not me after a few nasty e-mails which I have and can post, I returned his money as it was not worth dealing with him and I guess I was right after his post here. He didn't want stamps on the factory box and all I said was To Late They Already Are As That Was The Way It Was Shipped To Me. Go figure. LOL

I've dealt with Charlie ( marchas45) and would deal with him again. The transaction was seamless, no problems. He's a true Mainer, his work is good.

Ron

I did say I do not like tape and postal stickers on the factory box and when you told me it already had them I asked you to go ahead and wrap it or put it in another box. IYou said "too late for that" and sent my money back. But I guess what really upset you was that I told you that you could at least ship it the way I preferred since you made $200 profit on the machine. On Sept 6 you bought it for $1000 and posted it for $1250. You have the right to buy and sell as you like and if you get mad because someone asks for a certain way to ship, I dont need to deal with you anyway. Then you make statements like I apparently dont know anything about detecting but you post pictures with the Sunray probe mounted upside down!

Here is your post from another forum:
" here is my email and if you guys want to call it "nasty" then call it what you want.
"how is it too late, you have not mailed it yet. Just wrap it or put it in another box. I have been nice to you andgave you a 200 profit on a machine so at least you can ship it as I ask. It is stupid to send any kind of box in the mail with the factory box showing so people know what is inside. Good way to get a detector stolen. could you please help me out? thanks"

It's nice to hear the other side of the story. You were "nice" to him and gave him a $200 profit. You weren't buying the detector because it was a good deal?? and Charlie would be "stupid" to send any other way but yours? after all you gave him a $200 profit so "at least" he should do that? Yes, I don't see how this could possibly be conceived as nasty (or a deal that Charlie would regret later)

Charlie, how could you ............................... not cancel this deal.

As for the "Sunray probe mounted upside down!" I never knew this would cause the probe not to work, all this time the left hand detectorist have been at a disadvantage. Well Steve, at least I learned something new today and I hope all the lefties did as well. Although it is easier for a lefty to use, the probe won't work upside down

When I sell something, it's perfectly clean and the condition is described as accurately as possible with pictures to back it up. I have bought quite a few used detectors over the years that were described as like new but when they arrive-it's filthy and really beat up. Some sellers literally throw everything in a box and ship it. I carefully wrap everything up and ask others to do so too since I never know what the seller does unless I've dealt with them before or they tell me what they do up front. Most have no problem with my requests which just add to my transaction satisfaction. When I'm spending over $1000 on a detector or anything for that matter I too like my factory boxes nice without extra tape that's messy and unsightly. I do also ask about airtesting specs for that machine and particulars if something doesn't look right in the pictures. I also want breakable items double boxed since UPS/USPS are just so rough on things these days-many boxes come crushed or with holes in them...in fact I've found some CZ's that don't work as good after rough shipping. Sometimes PM's/e-mails send the wrong message which ruffles feathers often unintentially sometimes intentially...overall are great group of guys and gals on here with loads of integrity :) HH

Sorry it's not a left handed probe the seller I bought it from put it in upside down in the control box to take a picture which I used in this post.LOL It also has it's own upper rod.

Charlie,

We learned that it won't work upside down anyway. Not a bad idea to mount it upside down if you were a lefty. Leaves the switch more accessible to the right hand.

Ron

you said exactly what I wanted to say. I agree with you too that sometimes emails ruffle feathers and I didnt mean to do that. It all turned out for the best as I ended up getting a much better deal for me and saved over $200. Maybe it was meant to be that way and I apologize for any miscommunications.

That's what he does, and a couple of brown paper bags covering the box can't cost that much extra in shipping. Craig
