General Rules

The Finds Treasure Forum Classifieds is for individual use only with the exception of banner advertising buyers. Those buyers may advertise their traded in, discontinued models, etc.

Individual sellers may post their normal unwanted detectors, or accessories in assigned classified forums, but they  cannot exceed (1) one item in a (3) three month period for each classified forum.

Only For Sale, For Trade, or Wanted to Buy ads are allowed.

Only Forum Members Registered for  90 days or longer that have more than 24 significant posts in our other forums, may post For Sale or Trade ads.

Rules for Non Sponsoring Sellers:

  • Items for sale, or for trade, should be your own personal property and be accurately described.
  • Your for sale or trade post should be self contained, without references to another site where you may also have it for sale.
  • Do not put links to eBay.
  • Do not put links to other forums where you may also have the same item for sale or trade.
  • Dealers are not allowed to post in Classifieds unless they are a sponsor.

Advertisements not adhering to the above rules will be deleted without warning or notification.

For Sale: Fisher 1236X2 with extra 5" coil

I have a 1236X2 with stock 8" coil and cover and a 5" coil included. No pics......but the detector and 8" coil is in 9.5 out of 10 in condition. The 5" coil has no cover and is slightly scratched on bottom. It has the original serial numbered box and manual. This 1236 is tuned perfect with the threshold coming in at about 9 on the sensitivity control. $229 shipped Firm. USPS money order only. I have had several good feedbacks on feedback forum. PM me and we can talk on the phone if you want to.

OOPS Changed my mind.
No money orders for me no way no how.
I just bought a CZ-3D from bubby and I mailed it to him a USPS money order right from the post office and gave it to the clerk.
That was wednesday.
I live in NY he lives in Pennsylvania-he still does not have it.-I'm sorry I didn't read the whole thing and missed the money order.

OK I'm sorry,I guess I jumped the gun and don't feel right backing out of the deal since I posted that I would.
I sent you a message.
I can mail you a money order tuesday and I would probably like it for awhile anyway.
I can always sell it if I don't like it and it's not a lot of money.

So I guess you are doing business with guys who only take money orders after all ? You backed out of our deal after you said you would take the detector when you found out I didn't have PayPa and wanted a money order.

See...money orders work just fine and dandy. Just stop saying yes than no over and over again. If the person has positive feedback on the forum, then you really don't have anything to worry about.

Yes I checked you out later.
I never use money orders but it seems everyone wants them but it also takes to long.
I bought a CZ -3D on last wed. and mailed the money order right away from the post office and he still did not get it.
He just lives in the next state.Paypal is instant amd he can ship the next day.
Here with a money order will be a week before he even ships it.
I thought about that advantage deal a lot and that was a heck of a buy.

David------Randy (Hombre) is a good, no problems guy.---His detector will be what he says it is.------Here's a little tip on sending USPO money orders though.--Get yourself a (Large) USPO priority mail envelope & send the M.O. in it.----ALSO purchase a delivery confirmation slip (from the P.O. for 65 or 75 cents to put on that large priority envelope.----Total cost should be six bucks or less to send it and one of the best investments you can make as far as sending money orders thru the mail.---By doing this it holds the postal dept. more accountable and loss en-route is MUCH less likely.-----Del

What ever happened to the Advatage-I have a fellow who wants to trade a 2 month old tejon and extra coil for the CZ and i don't even have the CZ yet.I had the Tejon before and it is a killer here in ny- Just fresh water lake beaches and mild soil around here
I know the CZ is good but I usually put $560 a month in my toy acct. in two months I could get an Etrac if I want.So right Now I will have two CZ's unless I trade the -3D. Eventually the GT and then the etrac but what is there after that?Boredom.

I still have the Advantage and ended up taking the mounting clip off of the stock shaft and re-mounting it under the cuff with 2 metal screws and it is sooooo much better balanced.

Right now I am debating whether to put it back up for sale or hold off until the Fall and use it with the 15 inch WOT at some beaches where there is deep, big silver still lurking. One really nice thing about the Advantage is I can ramp up the discrimination and not loose any depth, and cherry pick for silver.

Not sure if I want to sell it or not, since I have a Sunray FZ-12 coil I can put on my CZ and get that same deep silver, but the 15 inch WOT is a DD and can probably hunt more ground faster.

Yeah right -money orders.
It took a week for bubby to get my money order and he was in the next state and he shipped it fast and now I bought the 1236X2 from hombre on the 4th-I mailed it from the post office on the 5th.
I guess it came when he was not home on the 9th and today is the 12th and he still did not get it. With Paypal I would have been detecting with it already and probably sold it again by now.
Money orders ,yeah they're great. Never again even if it was a steal.
