Here's the picture of the rare bronze age palistave axe head from 1250 BC. I dug over there with the set-up your now using. Coinstrike and 10.5" coil (harness mounted to swing all day)....

There are so many field's here in the UK that haven't even been touched,
I haven't found anything worth posting to date but hopfully one day ? As the saying goes " you have to be init to win it "
and thanks to people like yourself Bill who are willing to help out with your know how on the C$ with setting etc life detecting
is so much more easy,

Get some permissions from the farmers in your area and you will be all set........
there are 1000's of years of history in every field there. Even the crap fields I was put on by the TR of England I was still able to turn up that axe head. So, you'll get into some goodies shortly I'm sure like some hammereds.....Please be sure to keep the forum updated when you start hitting it.....

back then. So, I don't think you could find a metal item much older.....so yes, it was a thrill.
