Hello Monte,

I have been detecting 3 years now, I have a Tesoro Eldorado and love it. I bought it based on your recommendations, after I lost out on a Tesoro Bandito II. Looking for a good Salt/Fresh water machine. What is your current MD arsenal, and why?

Thank you,

Tippy

First a comment. I feel the Eldorado is one of the more versatile detector Tesoro has made. In many sites I hunted I prefer it to the Tej

How is the IDX on gold. I've always thought that it would be a great detector to carry in my car without having to risk getting my high end units stolen or something.

It does look like a fun unit, though

I was also looking at the Bandido 2 uMax but it doesn't have enough *punch* on silver coins.

All but one was found while using the IDX Pro, and depths were from about surface to about 6"-6

It's cool to play around with TID so I might get one to keep in the car trunk. Maybe I'll even splurge for a smaller coil.

And no, my trunk doesn't get too hot in the sun down here.
