Funny, I stopped back at the place where I dug the seated quarter briefly tonight before it got dark. Oddly enough there was no other coin in the hole as expected, but I did find this near by.
This is the same park where I dug another of these a few years ago that I mentioned in your thread. Not sure if this one has the same no. on it as my last. Back has NY and some other letters, I'll have to see if I can find a way to remove the rust. This is probably wire or something that it was attached to.
It's got a nice white patina (made of lead I think) and they're kinda cool I think.
