For coin hunting..Golden Umax or Fisher F4?

I`ve narrowed it down to the 2 mentioned in the title.

Looking for the best coin finder with the shortest learning curve.

Thanks for helping me decide:)

Not only is the Tesoro Golden uMax a great coin machine, it does a fantastic job finding gold jewelry without having to dig a lot of trash. Its super light weight makes it fun to use and its lifetime warranty makes it worry free.

Many more settings on the F5 so once you tweak it the way you want, coins are no problem.
The manual ground balance in both disc and all metal can also be an advantage, manual GB on the F4 is in all metal only.
I currently hunt with an F2, a Compadre and a Vaquero and I have scooped up both jewelry and a virtual mountain of clad with each.
Almost any detector can be a coin monster if you just have the patience to learn it well.

I can't vouch for the Fisher, but I can for the Golden.

Dig the high tones only and you'll dig copper, silver clad and silver coins all day. The only things you'll lose are zincolns and nickels. For those you have to dig the mid-tones too.

Both good machines, and both will serve you well if you take time to learn what they are telling you. Probably comes down to a choice between variable tones or a visual display.
