Hi there,
I have been using your Explorer Se Pro setup for a few years and find it works well for me here in Indiana. However I see you like to use the SEF 10X12 coil over the pro coil when detecting. What specifically is your reason for preferring the SEF coil over the Pro coil? I have purchased the SEF coil and have been using it. I like it even if it is a little heavier. My question is what specific features do you find make it a favorite of yours? Thanks in advance.

Hi Ron.

Glad my settings have been of some use to you and I wish you continued success in the field.

I had a very long and detailed response typed out but decided to just go with this.......In a pro vs con nutshell: for ME...the sites I hunt...my hunting style...my hearing preference...and the settings I run... the 10 x 12 SEF coil is: slightly deeper......separates better......can be run hotter (higher sensitivity)......is more stable.....handles iron better......ID's better at depth...and gives a more solid signal over deep silver and indians.
