Yes, they are just like one of the children and are treated about the same! Some dogs sleep with their masters all the time....my cat, Tony, slept near me on my bed when he was alive....he had his own spot on top of the covers and I sure do miss him...even though he passed away in '97! Don't want any more to take care of right now, though, as it is difficult just taking care of myself and my home! I praise God for the time I did have with him and, also, my brother, Cliff, who I also miss very much!
