For 4h audio users....

I've been spending most my time using the 4h audio mode lately. I like it...a lot! For you old coin shooters that use this mode, be very observant of zinc/dime bouncer signals. Most of the time, these have been old copper coins (indian heads, wheatbacks) In my soil, they break down quickly and drop conductivity, so dig those if they happen to ya! You may get a pleasant surprise :)

BUT, I dont coin shoot much, and generally dig everything above my preset Disc setting.(6) Seem to get a bit cleaner signals with 2F, and the machine is less "busy" as well. I can see where 4H may be an advantage if one were just looking for coins though. Good to know! Streak!

Hi Streak,

I am going back to a 1794 stone house that I've been doing and thought I'd try the 2f mode and dig all signals above 6. Can you tell me how you set your machine to get the best depth for relic hunting? Obviously if there are deep coins there, they would be picked up as well?

I've sort of "tuned" in my ears to listen for those bouncers... I'll have to switch over to 2f next time I get one and see how it responds audibly...

Thanks
