fooled by big silver

I hit a couple of homes this weekend and thought I had found a silver half and on closer look it was a one Florin .No date but it looks to be from the English1870-1880s. I love getting fooled every now and then. The house was built in 1950 so it must have been a bring back from WW2. The home the barber came from was built in 1900 but pretty fairly trashy.

Wow! well done, thats a gothic florin. minted between 1851-1887. The year is in Roman numerals on the side with Queen Victoria's head.
