Got back out to site yesterday evening and had some better luck. Recovered this South Carolina button just before darkness. Thanks for looking.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to all affected by Katrina,

Are you near the Richmond area. I just moved here from Kitty hawk and would love to go on a real CW hunt. My email: detheridge06@comcast.net
Thanks,
Danny

I'm an hour north of Richmond, but it would be easy for you to hunt CW relics in that area. You are surrounded by battlefields and encampments. Just start researching a little and asking permission, practically any where you go down there will have some kind of relics. Just got permission myself on a 4000 acre 250 year old plantation with CW activities very close by. It will be a fall/winter hunt for sure, because of crops and thick woods and its just 10 minutes north of Richmond......keep ya posted

Hows your guys diggin out in Md, or should I say Va, West Va, East Coast....lol. Mike still diggin all the Plates or what? I'll keep you guys posted on anything worthy of the long drive here, for some weekend diggin.

Dave

What settings (program) are you using on the DFX? Just curious for when I get down that way. Nice finds by the way. Love the Carolina button.
