I know you like the older planes so I took a few shots with my cell phone yesterday at a small airshow in Kankakee IL.

First two is a PT-13 then a P-51D, the business end of a B-17, the B-17 and the last one is a Superfortress B-29

thanks a million for sharing those larry! it's always great to see flying history. would really like to hear some of the stories the old birds could tell.

Hi Larry been a long time since we talked hope you are doing well and that Nancy is keeping you in line . Here is another old plane For fmurphy that our Missouri Congressmen Sam Graves flies around here in Missouri . I took this picture at a yearly flyin at Chillicothe , Missouri in 2007 .

A couple more pic's that I had problems downloading. I was surprised how large the F4U Corsair was but I guess it was considered a light bomber/torpedo plane as well as a fighter. The PT-13 was my favorite at the show. I fly a couple of PT-17 R/C planes which is the same plane as the PT-13 with a different engine.

Heres a little action for the air show . This was a fly over they did for the flyin , they couldn't land there cause the runway was to short for them to land on . I spent a lot of time flying around Vietnam on one of those C130's when I was with the seabees putting in portable landing piers in 1965 .
