flying eagle cent

I had some time to kill the other day after work and went to an old park that was built in 1892 figured it would be a good place to hunt. the park is in the city so there was a lot of trash but i did manage to find a 1857 flying eagle cent. it's not in great shape but i was able to see the date. my oldest find yet by 66 years.

I got an 1858 earlier this year. It is my oldest coin also. Congratulations on a great find.

Thanks guys it was fun finding the eagle cent it was even more fun trying to figure out what it was when i got home since i have never seen one before. I could make out the 1857 so i figured i had my first Indian head when i started to clean it i couldn't make out the head so i went online looked up the date and found out it was a flying eagle cent kinda fun like a little treasure hunt. the pictures are not good but here they are.
