Florida gulf coast detecting question... (Explorer, Sovereign, F75)

Will I miss small gold with the Explorer?

I am going to spend a week in Florida and will be taking those three detectors. I am not planning to do underwater detecting, just sand and maybe shallow wading. I know the Sovereign GT will serve well and I am pretty sure the F75 will work well on the dry sand but what about the SE. I have a Pro coil, an 8" FBS, and a 6" Excellerator for the SE. I know nothing about underwater detecting so I figure i'll just stay with what I know at least a little bit about.

Any suggestions?

I took my F75 down to the southern california beaches a few weeks ago and it worked great in the DRY SAND ONLY. After trying several different settings in the wet sand, I gave up and headed back to dry ground.

Good Luck!

I took a T2 down to the beach a couple of years ago, it did not do well in the wet sand and went nuts if I stuck it in the water. The Sovereign handles it well though. I just want to know if I will be missing jewelry with the SE w/pro coil...

Thanks!
