well...you just have to decide.....which is more important.....detecting .....or.....dust?:lmfao:

Probably boca to miami area....but that might change.

.... you want to avoid beaches that have just had that done or in process. Renourishment bury's good old targets and leaves you lots of fresh can slaw and other offshore debris that waste's lots of time and energy to recover both on the beach and in the water. The SW Florida beaches of Fort Myers / Sanibel Island area is doing renourishment now and good finds are few and far between.

If you are just beach detecting, find big wide beaches with lots of fluffy sugar sand rather than thinner beaches with hard packed sand. Those wider beaches are typically on the East coast and perhaps the Tampa area.

I am heading to the gulf side, along the I-30, Ft. Walton and Seaside area on the beach! I am arriving on Thursday and leaving on Tues. Terrified to fly... never flown before, and wouldnt ya know it, they have been showing plane crash survival stories on television...

My detector is already there, my sister and her husband drove down and got there today, I hope they leave something for me to find  Any helpful hints on where to detect??
