Depends on conditions and they are changeable. Right now the east coast beaches are pretty full of new sand and pickings are few. When conditions are right though it can be pretty good. Down southeast in the state is the treasure coast where they still sometimes get old Spanish treasure coins but at the moment they are sanded in as well. Clearwater and Venice are still producing some I hear but the best is if you have a machine that will handle wading. The panhandle beaches are great beaches but I haven't heard much about detecting conditions there lately. One good storm from the right direction can change all of the above though.

Any beach that has a lot of activity will be a good place to hunt. Don't try to cover too much to fast. Hunt the umbrella and towel areas late and early. Check the tide schedules (local papers ). I try to hunt low tide early and late. Get a good scoop if you are going to hunt wet sand and in the water. Do not turn your back on waves and scoot your feet to alert the Rays. Good luck and HH :minelab:
