Florida Beach and Surf get together

Pavilion has been reserved for Saturday June 28th..for a beach/water hunters get together.... will post a few pics & directions by the end of next week

The theme of the get together is
Md'ers HELPING Md'ers

Date : June 28th,2008
Location : South gulf side Pavilion on Coquina Beach
Beach Info : Coquina Beach, located on the south end of Anna Maria Island, is one of the largest beaches in the area with all of the amenities. Plentiful free parking, lifeguards, concessions, picnic tables, playground, restrooms and showers are all available. A boat launch, bayside, is across the street from the beach.

ATTENTIVE AGENDA

Lunch at Noon : hot dogs,buns & condiments will be provided
please bring a covered dish,your own plates,napkins,
serving and eating utensils, plus your drinks

Pavilion is located next to beach,Day only RV parking available
Maps and directions will be posted later if enough interest is shown..please post your opinion quickly as I only have a temporary hold on the pavilion..please remember nothing is set in stone except date & location...any ideas,additions or changes to the agenda would be greatly appreciated...I will try to answer any questions, but not being from the area, my knowledge is limited.....Thank you ...Rdi

I am very interested, how much do you need for the pavilion? I will be coming from South Carolina.

Magicman....There is no cost for the get together...just bring yourself,wife,kids,etc. Be willing to share information & stories..It would be nice if you could bring a covered dish,but since you are from out of state,make it easy on yourself,bring chips or something similar..Rdi

My wife loves to cook and grew up on a farm cooking on an open fire. You got a pig? she can take care of that also, but need rice.... My wife is from the jungles, Philippine jungle.

How is the hunting this time of year? Any tourists there?

Its not bad...we are having an influx of tourist for memorial day. I'm rubbing my hands together as I write this in anticipation of hitting the low tides over the next few days.

Have some interest from the Gold Coast Treasure Club members, located in West Palm Beach. Will have a better idea after our club meeting on June 12.

Bill N...this is a informal get together,you can hunt anytime you wish,there is probably 3/4 mile of public beach to hunt.The agenda will be determined by those attending...Rdi
