did anybody make a more flexible intermediate joint between the coil cable and the control box,so that when the control box is body mounted, there is no undue strain on the fitting from flexing?how does one know whether they have the up dated model infinium or the old one?do the serial numbers tell?blowfly

Inside the battery compartment you will se a yellow sticker with FM and a date written on it.
The FM means Fully Moddified. by the goldmining Centre.
Infiniums purchased directly from the States will not have this number on them and are all to Aussie specs as of a couple years ago.

Give Phil a call and he can tell you what you want to know.

isn't that just dandy!not knowing about modified versions,i bought mine at a cheaper price in the states rather than pay the over priced one in australia. it still seems to work okay i think, but reading a post somewhere on another forum, has started to give me doubts.never found gold with it on the gold fields but, found a gold ring with a saphire and two small diamonds in the wet sand, some decimal coins and heaps of bottle tops.so far i haven't been real impressed.blowfly
