got this last night while on a field hunt and not sure what signiffagance it might be but i thought it was cool find, if anybody has anyinfo on what it is that would be great!

I found a badge similar in shape but with a Free Maison symbol. Made of copper. I later earned that some GMC cars long ago had custom made badges that were attached to the front fender. My badge has 3 holes for attachment. I was emailed by someone that found one with a peacock design. Hope this helps.
 
nope this would have been worn for sure and is very old on the back has the set up like a broche needle with a clasp type thing, but i know what your talking about though and buick was famous for those!
