Hola hombres

Spring had arrived and I got my GTP1350 in the post. Things were looking good. Straight away I injured my back and am flat out, in pain and extremely bored. Good to see your posts on this machine as it looks to be v good. Hopefully I will find out one day cos I am surrounded by virgin ground.:nopity:

Trog, sorry to hear about your back. Hopefully you will soon be able to come out and join the rest of us in this wonderful hobby.

Get well soon and go hunt that virgin ground .

My back went out after metal detecting season last year. I was in constant pain for at least a month. I think it happened because I stopped exercising my back or maybe the exercise was keeping it loose. So far this year I have felt pretty good and now my right arm usually tells me when I have to stop. I found a decent OTC pain reliever (at least it's OTC in Canada) for the days when I need more than Naproxen or Ibuprophen.

Hope you feel better soon. It has to be rough with a new detector in the house.

I have been sick with some flu bug the last two days and my 1350 is just calling to me! The worst thing is we are having some of the best weather we have had here this year this last two days, sunny and in the 60's!:garrett:

Oh man...that's just terrible. A bet you watch that video many times while you are layed up. Good luck for a speedy recovery

Thanks for the replies. The video is engraved into my memory whats left of it anyway. The suns blazing away outside so I'm wondering about ground sweeping techniques whilst one is laying on ones back hmm.:detecting:
