Flat button found with MXT

Here is a picture of a flat button I found with the MXT at a site near the Gettysburg Battlefield. It was found on private property that I received permission to hunt on. I believe this could be Confederate as it was in the area of a Confederate position. The site was very trashy but at least I did find a button.

Good find, as I said if the soil is not mineralized or too trashy teh stock coil is probably the deepest. Rob
 
I never did see one like this one before....I found numerous flat buttons while relic hunting in Virginia, but none that were modified like this one was. Thanks!
