Fixing Beach hunter 300

desmond

New member
Just wondering if people thought I should fix my Beach Hunter 300. I found out it's only 100 bucks to fix. Will it be a good addition to my Excal 2, or fix it and sell it? Des in Buffalo

Desmond,
I would send it out to be repaired.......
Reasons.
At least you have the options that you mentioned. If it is not working it is doing you no good.

Selling it could recover some funds for the Excalibur, Or keeping it would give a possible partner a water detector to use..

Just a few thoughts.

The Beach Hunter 300 is not a PI machine correct?!? Personally I would fix it if it is in good shape and your only talking $100. If you decide not to and want to part with it as is...send me a PM.

I have the model beach hunter before the 300 series. Its a backup salt water machine. The 300 has a huge coil on it. As a backup...sure. I would have her repaired and keep it with me. HH -Joe

Can you have too many? Never hurts to have a back up or an extra machine to loan to a friend or relative.

Desmond. Fix the BHID it's a great detector & for $100. I hunt with the Excal 1000, Detector Pro PI & the BHID. Love them all. Great machine if you have problems with another

Water machines break down. Stuff happens all the time. I always take two to the beach. Never let a hunt stop because of equipment. And if you need to send a water unit in for repair a back up is mandatory. It could take weeks.
