Actually all I find wrong with my X-terra 70 is the poor stand which causes the detector to constantly tip over...Basically used some plastic piping and two plastic 90 degree elbows and two rubber furniture leg bottoms...cut a hole in the middle and trimmed it with a file and drilled a hole in the bottom for the bolt that goes thru rod to top of armrest. Had to get a two inch bolt from a hardware store to replace the one inch bolt and now wouldn't tip over even in a hurricane. Painted it black to fit in with the unit and rather cheaply have a stand that looks like it came from the factory..I know I have seen some high ones that clamp onto the rod, but this one is about 2 inches high and wide enough to make it extremely stable and not interfer with my swing or deter the units overall cosmetic look...
Wish I had the ability to offer a picture and hope you all get the idea as it makes a perfect stand and a good detector even better..
